Attention All Elite Members:

Nutcracker Rehearsals have begun! Be sure to check the board every Wed for weekend rehearsal times. DE will be presenting THE NUTCRACKER choreographed by Tony Catanzaro on Sunday December 13th at the Joseph Caleb Theatre. Tickets on sale through ticket master beginning in October. 

Jamar Robert and Dee Caspary are the master teachers for October:)! Get ready!!!

MTV'S AMERICA'S BEST DANCE CREW

HOSTED THEIR AUDITIONS AT

 THE DANCE EMPIRE OF MIAMI SCHOOL

ON TUESDAY OCTOBER 14TH

FROM 9-8PM.

CONGRATULATIONS to EVAN RAPAPORT for receiving first place in the nation in the mini catagory for the best overall dancer in the nation in his age division! Congrats also go to JESSIE PARKER and SAMANTHA OSTWALD for receiving Top 10 in the nation in their age division.  GO DANCE EMPIRE!!!

Tawanna had a beautiful baby GIRL named "BROOKLYN SKY CHARLTON" on July 5th!!!

Janell Williams received Monsters of Hip-Hop scholarships!

Jamar Roberts had a special guest appearance on SYTYCD this season and also no longer is the Top 20 in the world to watch but now the Top 10 as of Dace Magazime 2008! (Sigh)

BRANDON BRYANT

Recently joined the Professional Dance Company "Odyssey" out of Salt Lake City Utah! He will dancing through Germany till December 2008. Go Brandon! Go make us proud!

CANDACE RODRIGUEZ

Recently was promoted to be the new Artistic Dorector of the Dance Empire school! Angel knows Candace will make her oh so proud training the next generation just as Angel trained her. Go Candace, Go make those divas:)!

Is on tour with Brittney!

KELLY LAFARGA

Recently joined the NYC based Hip-Hop Company under the direction of RHAPSODY! She also just booked the up and coming movie BOULDEN which features Kelly as a dancer and actress. Be sure to look out for it. She will also be appearing on Regis and Kelly and Jay Leno shortly- so stay tuned:). She also just booked STEP UP 2! Go Kelly! 

JAMAR ROBERTS

Was invited to Vail Colorado this Summer (2008) where he was one of the special honorary guests of TOP DANCERS IN THE WORLD INTERNATIONAL SHOWCASE! He was simply breathtaking as he took over the cover of the Vail Newspaper with his beauty, essence and grace! You all would of been so proud of him! He was on the cover of the NY Times as one of the leading men of Alvin Ailey last year as well! The issue came out Friday Jan. 1st, 2008. He is looking forward to his "City Center" season with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre in NYC all of December. If you are in NY in Dec. be sure to check him out.

Also, NEW August 2008 he was in DANCE magazine as "one of the TOP 10 Dancers in the world to watch!"

NOEMI DEL RIO

Finished her tour with the performing artist CASEY! She also appeared on Law and Order and made us oh so proud!She just finished working in  San Diego working on the new Franco Dragone Broadway show entitled "Carmen The Musical!" We can't wait to come and see you on Broadway Noemi!
